Coco logs are cylindrical structures made from coir fiber or rolled up coir pads encased in coir nets. They are used to protect against widening and soil erosion along streams of running water. The logs are secured at the edge of the bank with wooden pegs and can be produced in different thickness and lengths. They work as a brake on waves and reduce the impact of erosion, allowing natural vegetation to take root and control the soil erosion over time.
